Course Description
This course was designed for teachers and educators who work in schools and communities across Canada.
This is a hands-on, project-based course that consists of readings, videos, and using worksheets. In the first week of the course, you will have an opportunity to evaluate your school or community space, students and external supports (i.e., staff, care takers, community workers etc). The goal is for you to explore and apply the concepts learned with the Tower Garden.

Format & Timing
- Team-Based Course: We strongly encourage (but do not require) that you take the course with a team of 2-4 people. We recommend working with colleagues or community supports.
- Platform: Thinkific (+ FoodShare & LoyaltyOne) developed the courses according to each specific stage of the school or program year.
- Timing: This course will be open for a year. You can work through the materials at your own pace while the course is open. While there is no homework, there are a couple of quizes to keep track of your learning process. Remember to make it fun and engaging.
